PHS remains operational throughout the winter storm that began Friday, Jan 23 and into the next week. Logistically, there may be delays due to local conditions, as the safety of our personnel is paramount. Our team will continue to communicate with you if any issues are encountered.
We’d like to share with you some valuable sources of information as we progress through this winter storm in case you have to be on the road with us; we aren’t the only mobile healthcare team or portable diagnostics provider serving patients in this storm! Our aim is to keep not only our team members, but you safe and informed as well.
You can find a live Oklahoma road traffic map here, which also includes live feeds of certain roadways and updated photos of conditions.
The National Weather Service is a critical resource for meterological forecasts and updates; for Oklahoma, there are two key locations that cover the state: Norman and Tulsa.
If you prefer the information to be a bit more digestible (especially on mobile), you can also follow them on social media, e.g. the Facebook pages for NWS Norman and NWS Tulsa.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t also share a visual checklist that you’ve likely seen floating around on the socials. In case you haven’t seen it, please be sure to review before heading out on the roads. Things can change quickly and, unfortunately, sometimes for the worse.

And, as always, please make sure to knock any accumulation off the top of your vehicle before heading out. All of us in mobile healthcare thank you ahead of time!
